The foundations of DDFA were laid in the late 1970’s and the business was well established by the mid 1980’s.

In 1989 DDFA Licensing was established due to demand from publishers to use our artists for reproduction purposes. 

Our primary activity is the licensing (to publishers and manufacturers worldwide) of original art images produced by the artists that work for us. 

Our clients are leading manufacturers of greeting cards, stationary, calendars, fine art prints, jigsaws, collector’s plates, book covers, tableware etc. 

We have more artists than most agencies and that’s because we are the sister company to Daryl Davies Fine Art Ltd (Established 1980) one of the UK’s main trade suppliers of original paintings by leading artists.

We pride ourselves in forging a mutually beneficial relationship with our artists, indeed, virtually all of our existing artists have remained loyal to us since we started representing them as long ago as the 1980’s.
