Website FAQ’s:

How do I log into the website at www.ddfa.com?

You are able to log in to the website either on the home page or from the login page found on the left hand menu. Your password must be entered in lowercase.

If you do not have a password please contact us for one.

How do I search for images?

Once logged in, the search tool allows you to find images based on two subject matters and region required. The search also allows you to narrow the search by selecting an artist’s name, but we suggest that you leave this blank otherwise it may limit your results too much.

How do I save images into the light-box?

There are two main ways of saving images into the light-box:

• Click on ‘SAVE’ underneath the image after a search or;
• Select multiple images by ticking the box underneath the image where it says ‘Add to Lightbox’. Then click the large box at the bottom of the page that says ‘Add ticked items to lightbox’.

How long do my images stay in the light-box?

The images will stay in the light-box for 30 days. The images are only available to see on the computer which you have saved them into the light-box on. This is due to the use of cookies.

How do I search for available images?(Greeting Cards, Prints or Jigsaw Puzzles)

We have three separate distinct logins for the website; Greeting Cards, Prints & Jigsaws where you are able to check the availability of rights for images based on the product and region selected. There is also a login which shows all the images.

Once logged into the Greeting Cards section for example you are able to search for images based on artist, subject matter and region required. This is the same for both the Jigsaw and Prints section.

If an image is displayed after a search has been run it will be available for the region selected.

We aim to update the website as soon as rights become unavailable. However if you want to double check if an image is available (such as for a meeting) please feel free to email / call us directly with the reference numbers and we will check the image has not been licensed since the website was last updated.

What’s the availability checker for?

The availability checker can be used to quickly check if an image is available for a required region if you already know the reference number from a previous search.
