Bridget Tavener is a full time professional artist working in all main media and completely self- taught.

Caring for all manner of creatures in distress has given her a profound respect and understanding for the natural world – feelings she hopes to inspire in others through her work. 

Bridget has exhibited with “The Society of Miniaturists”, “The British Society of Painters”, and “The British Watercolour Society” Bridget was elected to full member of all three societies, and elected a “fellow” of “The International Guild of Artists”. She won prizes with all three societies including “Best in show”. 

Although her love of nature provides endless inspiration, Bridget often paints fantasy subjects “a little left of reality”.
