Joe Hush is a landscape artist who likes to paint in Acrylic and also Watercolour. His paintings reflect his love of the countryside and he hopes that what he sees and feels is conveyed to the viewer. Joe left school and started his working life with Hardy Brothers, the world famous fishing tackle specialists. During his mid twenties he took time out from work and travelled extensively through Europe. He then returned to work to further his career with Hardy Brothers. A self-taught artist, he started to paint professionally in 1993. He has developed a fascination with the effect of sunlight and mist in his work, lending a unique atmosphere to many of his paintings. Joe has a great love of the countryside, and spends as much time as possible travelling around to gain inspiration for his work. His sincere appreciation of the countryside drives him to recreate this in his work. His success as a professional artist is a testament to his undoubted talent.
